The bigger, more complex and more demanding they are, the more motivated you become. You don’t want to spend the next few years delivering another average apartment building where every day feels the same.
Instead, you want to be part of something that will stand out on your CV for the rest of your career.
This project certainly ticks that box.
You’d start on a landmark residential development in Chatswood comprising 550 apartments across two 60-level towers above 9 basement levels. The development also includes commercial space, childcare facilities, affordable housing and private open space, making it one of the most significant mixed-use developments currently commencing in Sydney.
You’ll join the team before construction really gets moving, giving you the opportunity to influence the project from the beginning rather than inheriting someone else’s problems.
Your focus will be heavily involved in the technical side of delivery. Managing design development from tender through to IFC, coordinating consultants, obtaining CCs and OCs, managing authority approvals and ensuring the project is ready to transition smoothly into construction.
The project will run for around 4-5 years, giving you genuine job security and the opportunity to see a landmark development through from day one to completion.
Salary is in the $200k-$250k package range depending on your experience.
