Why is this role for me

You are sick and tired of working for a builder that doesn’t take safety seriously on-site. There is no investment, no respect for what you do and no one listens to you.

You want to join a company that doesn’t just talk about having safety as a key component of their projects – it actually backs that ‘talk’ up with actions.

You have some new build construction experience working on sites for at least the past 4 years and you know how to communicate with the subbies and the client when they turn up for site visits. 

You enjoy working with experienced people and you’d get that here with a PM who has been at the company 10 years and a SM for 6 years. 

You’d help finish off a $60million new build shopping centre this year in Windsor before moving onto a new project which will be in the $40-$100million range. 

Salary starts in the $150-$180k package range plus a yearly bonus (Paid every year apart from the covid year)

Their staff stick around as they are happy, get put on training courses and they have excellent facilities in the office and out on site. (Staff retention was at 91% last year which is ridiculously high for the construction sector)

Subbies are paid on time (They pay my invoices in a week) and projects are well resourced so headaches are kept at a minimum. 

If you are sick of how you are being currently treated on site and want a Monday to Friday gig with minimal stress then this is the job for you. 

Sounds good – what skills do you expect from me?

To be in with a shout of this role you just need to tick the following 4 points;

  • 4+ years experience working on new build construction projects worth $30million+ in Australia
  • You are good at following a system and process. With Procore and 1breadcrumbs in place, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel here. 
  • At least a cert IV in WHS. If you have a diploma or auditing qualifications then extra bonus points for you!
  • You love to communicate with others to get the best out of them. You can build relationships with others and influence them.
