CONTACT ADMINISTRATOR
Sydney > Upper North Shore
$110k-$130k Package
Why is this role for me?
You’re a CA with 4 years + experience, love the fitout sector, and want to progress to a project manager role in the next 1-2 years.
You want a new challenge where you will get close mentorship and an opportunity to work on a broad mix of projects with a builder that has an amazing reputation.
You’ll be part of a business unit of 20 with direct and daily interaction with the GM and PMs who have been with the company 5 years+, so you’ll be well supported and will have a clear idea of the direction of the company and how you will get there.
The interiors team is doing extremely well during this challenging time and with a diverse portfolio of work this role is critical to ensuring the company doubles its turnover over the next 5 years.
You’ll enjoy flexible working hours, free onsite parking at a bright and welcoming new office which is also by a train station if you’d prefer that way to travel.
With a salary of $110-130k package, yearly bonus, career progression, and $400 allowance to put towards your hobbies, you’ll be happy you have joined such a collaborative and friendly company.
How can you be successful as a CA in this role?
It’s a great role for you if you are really confident of your CA skills and understanding of commercial contracts. You feel ready to take the step up a PM role and are happy to prove yourself over the next 12-18months in this new role.
With projects ranging from $3-$15million across multiple sectors you’ll never get bored of doing the same thing and you won’t be stuck in the office every day as you will go out to site and see clients regularly.
As a CA you’ll work closely with the PMs, learning new skills like programming, handling the client’s expectations, and how to deliver complex projects on time and budget.
If you are looking for the chance to further your career in a well-known and respected company then this is the role for you.
I’m really interested, but can I do this job?
We certainly hope so! You’ll need a strong track record of being a CA previously delivering fitout and refurb projects up to at least $5million.
Ideally, you’d have 4 years + post grad experience with a builder and be a very effective and confident communicator.
You won’t need to be the finished article but you will need to be able to demonstrate at interview why you are ready and to take on the responsibility of being a project manager in the near future.
What can you tell me about the company?
With 30 years of experience delivering projects and 120 staff in Sydney, it’s safe to say that they know what they are doing.
Their staff turnover is ridiculously low mainly because you are treated like family, don’t get overworked and they enjoy doing lots of team activities such as tough mudder, touch rugby, monthly meals out, and lots of charity events.
They are the sort of builder where people have moved to and wished that they had made the move sooner.
Working with the specialised interiors team you’d be part of a close unit of 20 where you’ll get close access to senior management and will learn more skills from different experienced PMs. This will help you develop into a great PM after 1-2 years
