Why is this role for me?

You’re a contracts administrator who knows how to deliver $10million new build projects and now you want to challenge yourself.  A change of company, varied projects and new faces is what you seek.

You’ll never get bored as they deliver age care, schools, police stations, government and health projects so you’ll rarely work on the same old type of project.

With project delivery up to $30million you’ll get to test yourself on larger projects further on down the track, learn new skills and be supported by management and site teams.

What’s the day to day like?

If you want a job spec with a nice long list of duties then just ask! In brief you will be working closely with a PM and project team and helping them deliver projects ranging from $5-$30million

From procurement, cost reporting, analysing quotes, letting orders and project reporting (Using Cheops) you will be given the chance to attend site and client meetings and develop your skills on an ongoing basis

Most of the time you will be based in the office and you will never need to work a Saturday again!


Why would I want to work for the company?

As a CA you’ll of course be busy and sometimes stressed but you’ll have all the resources to assist you. From a dedicated PM, hands on management, up to date systems and 15 years of delivering projects these guys have seen and done it all.

Progression is available with yearly appraisals and they are targeting a 30% increase in turnover over the next 5 years, so they are looking for CA’s that are ambitious to go on a journey with them.

Retention is great, project pipeline is high and with most staff in their mid-30’s they are experienced but not stale in their approach to construction.


What do I need to be successful in this role?

  • 3+ years of CA experience in new build construction from $5million plus is necessary.
  • Ability to use Cheops would be great, but being able to pick up and adapt quickly to new ways of working and new software is more important.
  • You’ll be honest, flexible and eager to keep learning.
  • At times you may be responsible for 2-3 smaller projects rather than 1 larger one.
  • Australian experience is required and if you’ve delivered a mix of project types that would be ideal.
