Why is this role for me?

You are a PM who wants to take on larger valued projects than what you are doing now or you are a senior CA who wants to take the step up to a PM and be mentored as you deliver a project.

You enjoy getting your hands dirty and still being across the project in terms of procurement, dealing with subbies and design coordination but you now want more exposure to programming and client interaction.

In this role you’d get exposure to all of that whilst being guided by a SPM (who is across 2-3 projects) and by the CM. You’ll manage a CA and a cadet and the project is with a long term client so the relationship is good.

Initially, you’d start working on a $25million school project which has heritage, new build and refurb components on a live site so it’s a project that will need you to use your brain and plan methodically.

You’d be office based (near Gordon) and the company have all the right structures and processes in place so you won’t need to reinvent the wheel.

Staff retention every year is around 92% as the team feel valued and supported and the company has an excellent bank balance so subbies are well looked after.

Starting salary is in the $180-$220k package range and they would like to engage someone before Christmas so don’t wait to apply.

  • You have 8+ years experience working for a head contractor with at least 5 of that in Australia
  • You’ve been in a CA/SCA role before and are confident covering that job function managing a CA and a Cadet
  • You can commute daily to the North Shore area days a week
  • You have a construction related degree.
