JUNIOR ESTIMATOR (LANDSCAPING)

Why is this role for you?

You are a person with civil or landscaping experience and you want to feel enjoyment at work again. You need a change, a new challenge. Something to get your teeth into in 2025.

You’ve always had an interest in numbers, and pricing projects and understanding on companies win work and tenders. 

In this role, you can learn new skills (go on paid courses), get 1-2-1 training and get a long-term plan to be their next estimating manager. 

It would be a steep learning curve but you back yourself and you are good at using new software and can pick up new skills. 

You’d be trusted to do your work how you want to and as long as deadlines are hit you can WFH, start early/late and finish your day when you need to. Fitting work around your life and family is one of the owners beliefs.

The current team is very settled and have a great vibe in the office and on site.

The team of 7 in the office enjoy coming to work as the owner looks after them, values what they do and gives them bonuses when projects have gone well. That culture has resulted in only 1 person leaving in the last 2 years.

You’d start on a salary of $70-$90k + super. There is free parking at the office (like a WeWork office so has 24 access and lots of perks within) and if you do really well in the role there could be a company car later on down the track.

This year they have head a 41% tender success rate and Last year it was a whopping 74% – just one of the reasons why working on selective tenders is a big benefit to how much you can enjoy your job.

  • You’ve got at least 2 years of experience working in the commercial landscaping sector as a foreman, coordinator, CA or as an estimator
  • You can drive and have your own vehicle
  • You are very confident using computers and learning how to use software
  • You want personal growth within a small team environment and business that is growing (20 staff)
