This role is with a builder that has built its reputation through repeat business and quality delivery rather than trying to be the biggest name in the market.
Around 80% of their work comes from repeat clients, they are privately owned with 1 owner and they are expanding and about to move into a new office space in Woolharra.
Historically, the business has specialised in commercial fit-out and refurbs, but over the last few years, they’ve successfully expanded into retail and health projects, which now make up around 20% of their workload.
You’ll work across live project environments where communication, organisation and quick decision-making are critical.
The director and senior leadership team are hands-on, approachable and make decisions quickly. There’s very little politics internally, and the culture is genuinely collaborative.
Starting salary is in the $110k-$130k + super range plus discretionary bonuses and regular salary reviews based on performance.
You’re either already running fitout projects as a project manager and want to join a better more structured builder or you are a CA/SPE and want to take the step up and start running your own projects as a junior project manager.
Either way, you’d be confident managing the full delivery process from procurement and programming through to project completion.
You’ve worked on live environment projects before and understand the complications that arise from them, particularly when they are D+C.
You understand how important client relationships are, and you know that repeat business only happens when projects are delivered properly.
