You’re at the stage of your career where you want more ownership.
You enjoy the commercial side of construction. Negotiating with subcontractors, managing procurement, solving problems before they become expensive and keeping projects financially healthy.
But you’re probably getting frustrated inheriting projects halfway through where budgets have already blown out and subcontractors are already unhappy.
This role is the complete opposite.
You’ll join before the project really gets underway, giving you the opportunity to establish the commercial processes from day one and work alongside an experienced delivery team over the next 4-5 years.
The project itself is massive.
A mixed-use development in the heart of Sydney comprising two 80-storey residential towers with 600 apartments, 200 hotel rooms and a ground floor civic plaza.
You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and Project Director while mentoring junior commercial staff, building relationships with subcontractors and ensuring the project runs commercially as smoothly as it does operationally.
Salary is in the $200k-$250k package range depending on your experience.
