Workplace Development & Wellbeing Lead

$120k + Super – Sydney > Gordon

Why this Workplace Development & Wellbeing Lead role for you?

You’ve always had an outgoing personality. You consider yourself a people’s person who enjoys bringing teams together and putting a bit of life into a workplace.

You are a keen organiser, the one who gets things done and likes to help others feel connected and at ease.

Whether you’ve come from HR, events, executive support or another people-focused role, you love creating a positive environment where everyone feels connected.

You enjoy variety and not getting stuck in a rut. Sitting behind a desk all day isn’t for you.

One day you’ll be welcoming three new starters, running inductions and setting up their workstations. The next you’ll be organising leadership training, coordinating a charity event or visiting project sites to catch up with teams and hear what’s happening on the ground.

This isn’t a role where you’ll simply keep the wheels turning.

This builder already has some fantastic initiatives in place, but they’re looking for someone to take them to the next level and help them keep their high staff retention levels.

During your first year you’ll get to understand the business, build more structured learning for all levels and coordinate their events, workshops and charity days. By year two you’d be able to implement new ideas and identify real opportunities for improvement.

You’ll be within a friendly team of 7 in a business of 125 staff so it’s big enough to be a challenge but not that big that it’s a soulless corporate entity. You’ll soon know everyone including the approachable directors.

Sounds great, what experience do you need from me?

If you can tick these 4 points we’d love to hear from you.

  • You’ve worked in HR, people & culture, events, executive support or another people-focused role for at least 3 years
  • You’re highly organised, enjoy juggling multiple priorities and have organised events previously
  • You’re a natural, confident communicator who loves dealing with people at all levels and can build strong relationships
  • You are confident presenting to a room of people for onboarding or when presenting your ideas
